Authentication troubleshooting

If dashboard sections send you back to Settings, check that your account has a real, verified email.

Website access

If dashboard sections send you back to Settings, check that your account has a real, verified email. Steam linking alone does not satisfy this requirement. Check the address and spam folder before requesting another verification message.

For a linked-provider conflict, sign in to the account that already owns the identity. The site does not automatically merge separate accounts. Password problems use the password reset flow; provider sign-in can depend on its availability.

API access

For 401, send the active key with the exact Bearer header, remove accidental whitespace and check whether it was recently regenerated. A new key can need synchronization time. Never send the actual key to public support.

For 403, check the operation's allowed audience; a user key does not grant administrative or synchronization access. 402 is a billing issue, and 429 is a rate limit. Record the status, error code, request ID and UTC time if the issue persists.
