Errors
Validation details can include error.details.errors entries with loc, msg and type.
Respond to the status and code
| Status | Meaning and action |
|---|---|
| 401 | Missing or invalid authentication; check the active key. |
| 402 | credit_insufficient; add credits or check your subscription. |
| 403 | forbidden; this operation is not available to your credential. |
| 404 | resource_not_found; check path, identifier and coverage. |
| 405 | method_not_allowed; check the HTTP method and Allow header. |
| 422 | validation_error; fix field constraints before retrying. |
| 429 | rate_limited; wait for Retry-After. |
| 500 | internal_error; keep the request ID and report persistent failures. |
| 503 | dependency_unavailable; retry later with backoff. |
Validation details can include error.details.errors entries with loc, msg and type. The response need not echo your original input. Do not rely on English message wording.
Failed price requests do not consume credits. A lost successful response is different: see retries.
